Chinese Soy Sauce Dressing for Fish Dishes

We all know that when you get your hands on fresh fish, the simplest cooking method is the best way to bring out the taste of the fish.

All we need, is a simple soy sauce to bring out the “鲜“ in the fish.

Here’s a simple soy sauce recipe that I would always use for my fish dishes.

Ingredients

  • 3 cloves of minced garlic

  • 1 tbsp of chopped onion

  • 2 tbsp of vinegar

  • 3 tbsp of soy sauce

  • ½ tbsp of oyster sauce

  • 1 tbsp of sugar

  • 1 tbsp of water

  • Chili powder (based on taste)

  • Pepper (based on taste)

  • Salt (based on taste)

Directions

  • Combine minced garlic, chopped onion and chili powder in a bowl.
  • Pour hot oil into the bowl and mix well.
  • Combine the rest of the ingredients in the list.
